Canada's largest specialty retailer of quality and innovative home appliance products and services.
The investment by the franchisee
Contrary to the majority of store franchising concepts, at Corbeil, the franchiser himself invests considerably in each new store. The average investment by the franchisee is between $275,000 and $325,000, which includes leasehold improvements, the initial costs of the franchise and training as well as all other costs related to the start-up of a retail business.
The investment by the franchiser
The franchiser supplies all the floor model appliances at no charge to the franchisee. With both parties having a financial interest in the business, the Corbeil Concept amounts to a real partnership between the franchiser and franchisee. The financial investment by the franchiser in each Corbeil store varies between $500,000 and $650,000.
The Corbeil Concept offers a vast selection of appliances as well as a large variety of brands. These products are displayed within a “lifestyle” environment and the “showroom” concept in our stores. In fact, delivery of the appliances is executed, for the franchisee’s account, directly to the customer from a Corbeil central warehouse. This warehouse serves as a distribution centre for the entire network.
The franchisees and their representatives are therefore free to dedicate all of their time to their customers, offering them exceptional advisory services and after-sales follow-up for each and every customer.
